How quickly can you come out to an emergency in Amersham?
We prioritise genuine emergencies. Timing depends on where we are in the day and the nature of the risk, but a quick call on 07777 722212 with a photo is the fastest way to get a straight answer.
How much does emergency tree work cost?
Every emergency is priced individually — a single hung-up limb is very different from a fully uprooted mature tree. We give you a clear price on site before we start, and stick to it. No 'from' prices because they'd be misleading.
Do you work out of hours or at weekends?
Yes, where the risk warrants it. Call us and we'll be straight with you about what we can do and when.
Do I need to notify the council if the tree has a TPO?
For genuine emergency works we can proceed to make the tree safe, then submit the notification to the council on your behalf. We handle that paperwork as standard, though you're welcome to submit it yourself if you'd prefer.
Will my insurance cover it?
Most household policies cover storm damage and clean-up. We'll provide a written quote and job description you can pass to your insurer. Payment terms stay between you and us — we don't wait on insurers to release funds.
Can you remove the tree completely, or just make it safe?
Both. The first job is always to remove the immediate danger. After that we'll advise honestly whether the tree can be retained with reduction or bracing, or is best removed fully — and price each option.
Do you take all the waste away?
Yes. We're a Registered Waste Carrier with the Environment Agency. Timber, brash and chippings are all removed. If you'd like logs left for firewood, just say.
Is there a guarantee on emergency work?
Every job we complete carries a guarantee. If you're not happy with what's been done, tell us and we'll put it right.
